The sun rises when the sleep is stolen from my eyes.
They weep in crystal blue and shades of pink,
We'll sit here and mourn the starless skies
Until we catch a wink
With these shattered dreams,
Barely hopes upon strings..
Will we sleep tonight?

These lips left untouched, morning dew upon my breast.
These days bleed until there is no appreciation for the time.
Carry the burdens of the world upon my eyelids,
Let the world sleep peacefully tonight.
I'll be here with my ever waking watch,
Until the sun rises again, in its lonely bitter sky.
THe glorious night shares its skies with the moon and the stars,
But the sun...
it shines so bright.. in its lonely bitter light.

It will torch the souls of the hearts left unprotected.
Demons it will create.
We must shield the hearts of the innocent
Make sure they dont break...
I won't ever close my eyes...
In fear I'll never wake.
